Evaluation Process Guidelines:
The accreditation evaluation team (ARC) will judge the certification program on the
basis of a review of application materials and an on-site evaluation.
The evaluation team will conduct the on-site review based on the published list of
Key Performance Indicators. If the results are favorable, the evaluation team will
recommend to the ARC the accreditation of the particular program. Minor discrepancies
observed by the evaluation team may be corrected by the association and corroborated
by documentation to this effect prior to the ARC vote.
The evaluation team has the obligation and the responsibility to determine the seriousness
of a discrepancy. Discrepancies determined as severe or major will constitute sufficient
justification to recommend a program not be accredited.
